The 3-Click Navigation Guide

Google stores every review, photo, edit, and rating you submit in a central repository called Your Contributions. Accessing this dashboard allows you to review what you wrote, check view counts on your photos, and make edits.

  1. Step 1: Open Google Maps

Launch the Google Maps app on your smartphone or visit maps.google.com in any web browser.

  2. Step 2: Tap the Contribute Tab

Tap the "+" icon labeled "Contribute" located in the bottom bar on mobile, or in the left sidebar on desktop.

  3. Step 3: Select "Reviews"

Tap "View your profile" > "Reviews" to view your full history sorted by date.

Why a Review Might Not Show Up in Your Contributions

  • !
Wrong Google Account Signed In: You might have posted from a personal Gmail account while your phone is currently switched to a work or family account.
  • !
Review Removed by Google Moderation: If a review violated content policies (such as containing a phone number or URL), Google may have removed it from public view.
  • !
Business Listing Permanently Closed or Deleted: If the business shut down and removed its Google listing, reviews associated with that Place ID become invisible.

Switching Google Accounts on Mobile

If you have multiple accounts, tap your profile avatar in the top-right corner of Google Maps. Select your other email address from the dropdown list and re-open the "Contribute" tab to locate reviews posted under that login.

Managing Your Past Contributions

From your contributions tab, you can see how many people found your review helpful, view photo impressions, or remove outdated feedback from places you visited years ago.
